Hypervision AR pass-through vs regular AR see-through
The standard AR see-through (waveguides or bird-bath based) allows only 30° - 60° of the virtual real and application requiring peripheral vision augmentation are not possible. Regular VR headsets with RGB pass-through imaging are also can stimulate the limited FoV of 80° - 120°.
Hypervision AR/XR takes advantage of VRDom architecture. By means of high resolution, high frame rate and multiple camera for central stereo and extended peripheral real world imaging, the pass-through AR/XR could be implemented without partial obscuration of the real world. In such way Virtual, Augmented and Real world vision is completely stimulating the visual field.
